Dr. Priscilla Kerr
(She/Her/Hers)
TCM Doctor
Dr. Priscilla Kerr, Dr.TCM, R.Ac.
Founder CEO, Priscilla Kerr Wellness Ltd.
Dr. Priscilla Kerr is a Brazilian-trained physician, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr.TCM), and Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.). She graduated as a physician in Brazil in 2000 and brings more than 26 years of healthcare education, clinical experience and advanced training to the care of her patients.
After establishing her practice in Winnipeg in 2007, Dr. Kerr has spent nearly two decades serving patients in Manitoba. She also supports patients who travel from other communities and provinces for care and regularly receives referrals from physicians and other healthcare professionals as part of her collaborative approach to patient care.
Since beginning her Winnipeg practice, Dr. Kerr has provided more than 30,000 acupuncture treatments, developing extensive clinical experience in pain management, fertility and reproductive health, women’s health, pregnancy support, stress-related conditions, and complex chronic presentations.
Fertility & Reproductive Acupuncture
Fertility care has been one of the most meaningful areas of Dr. Kerr’s practice. Over the years, she has had the privilege of supporting patients through journeys that have resulted in the births of more than 970 babies, working with individuals and couples diagnosed with infertility who were trying to conceive naturally or undergoing assisted reproductive treatments such as IUI and IVF.
Her fertility practice includes acupuncture support throughout different stages of the reproductive journey, including cycle preparation, ovulation, ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, implantation, pregnancy, and postpartum care.
Medical & TCM Training
Dr. Kerr graduated from medical school in Brazil in 2000. She subsequently undertook five years and more than 5,140 hours of postgraduate training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and medical acupuncture within the Orthopedics Department of the University of São Paulo School of Medicine.
Her postgraduate education had a strong focus on pain management and musculoskeletal conditions, integrating her Western medical background with Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. She completed additional training and certification in Pain Management and TCM Fertility and worked alongside private and public fertility services in São Paulo.
In 2005, Dr. Kerr further expanded her Traditional Chinese Medicine education through training in Taiwan, studying with experienced professors and practitioners from Taiwan and China.
This combination of medical education, extensive TCM and acupuncture training, and more than two decades of healthcare experience continues to inform the detailed and individualized approach she brings to her patients today.
Nearly Two Decades Serving Winnipeg
After relocating to Canada, Dr. Kerr established her Winnipeg practice in 2007. She spent approximately 16 years practising at Manitoba Clinic, followed by two years at the Acupuncture College of Manitoba before realizing a long-held goal: creating her own multidisciplinary wellness centre.
On April 1, 2025, she opened Priscilla Kerr Wellness Ltd. in Whyte Ridge/Waverley West.
Located at Unit A – 103 Scurfield Boulevard, the centre was created around Dr. Kerr’s vision of bringing together highly qualified professionals who share a commitment to individualized, collaborative and compassionate patient care.
Her vision is to continue developing Priscilla Kerr Wellness into a comprehensive wellness centre for Waverley West, Winnipeg and surrounding communities — carefully building a team of exceptional professionals whose different areas of expertise can complement one another and provide patients with a more integrated approach to their health and recovery.
And there is more to come.
Collaborative Care & Professional Referrals
Dr. Kerr believes strongly in interdisciplinary care. Throughout her Winnipeg practice, she has worked alongside and communicated with physicians and other healthcare professionals when appropriate and regularly accepts physician referrals for patients seeking acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine care.
Her patients come from throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba, and she also welcomes patients travelling from other Canadian provinces who seek her areas of clinical experience.
When appropriate, Dr. Kerr collaborates with or refers patients to other regulated healthcare professionals so that acupuncture and TCM can form part of a broader, coordinated approach to care.
Leadership & Advocacy
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Kerr dedicated approximately 15 years to professional leadership and advocacy through the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada (CMAAC) and its Manitoba organization, serving in board and external-relations roles.
She has advocated for greater recognition of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and for high professional standards within the field.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Kerr believes every patient should be treated as an individual rather than simply as a diagnosis.
Her approach draws upon her medical education, more than 26 years of healthcare experience and training, and nearly two decades of clinical acupuncture and TCM practice in Winnipeg.
Her goal is to understand the whole person, identify contributing patterns, and provide thoughtful, individualized care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals whenever appropriate.
Important professional clarification: Dr. Kerr received her medical degree and physician training in Brazil. She is not licensed to practise medicine as a physician in Manitoba or elsewhere in Canada. She practises in Manitoba as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr.TCM) and Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.).

Collin Martin
Meet Collin – Registered Massage Therapist
Collin was personally discovered by Dr. Priscilla Kerr during her own recovery journey. After suffering a sports injury while at a resort in Cancun in December of last year, Dr. Kerr sought help from numerous professionals with little relief. It wasn’t until she found a last-minute appointment with Collin that she finally experienced meaningful progress. His treatment made such an impact that he became her go-to practitioner—and she promised that once her wellness center opened, she would bring him onto the team. That promise has now been fulfilled.
Collin is a Registered Massage Therapist who brings a wide range of skills and techniques to every session. He tailors each treatment to meet the individual needs and goals of his clients—whether it’s relaxation through Swedish massage, relief from chronic tension with deep tissue work, or advanced therapeutic approaches like:
Pre- and post-activity sports massage
Myofascial release
Trigger point therapy
Joint mobilization
PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) stretching
Postural alignment treatments
TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) therapy
With a background in construction and roofing, Collin understands the toll physical labor can take on the body. He credits massage therapy with enabling him to maintain a long and productive career, and that lived experience shapes his hands-on, structural approach to care.
Outside of the clinic, Collin is an avid runner who competes in half-marathon events. He also enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time at the cabin.
